Man arrested for drug offences after acting suspiciously in Gravesend

A 21-year-old is in custody after police received a complaint about a man acting suspiciously.

Officers were called shortly before 7pm last night to the Windmill Hill area of Gravesend.

A man was subsequently arrested in Shrubbery Road on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cocaine.

Kent Police Gravesham posted a picture on Twitter following the arrest.

They said officers had found 25 grams of cocaine, which had an estimated street value of over £1,000.

The suspect remains in police custody this morning.
