Three arrested after group left with facial injuries following attack in New Road, Gravesend

Three people were left with facial injuries after a fight between two groups.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital after a disturbance in New Road, Gravesend, near the junction with Princes Street at around 11.46pm on Friday, January 24.

Police arrested three people – including two teenagers – a short while afterwards.

A 17-year-old girl and a 21-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assault and a public order offence, while an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

All three have been bailed until a later date.

Officers are now calling for witnesses to come forward following the assault.

All three victims have since been discharged from hospital.

A police spokesman added: “Investigators are appealing to anyone with relevant information, including dashcam or mobile phone footage, to come forward.”
