Clean up operation primed after caravan found dumped in Gore Green road in Higham

A caravan has been dumped on a country lane with its contents spilling out onto the roadside.

The unwanted mobile unit was found in Gore Green Road in Higham, near Gravesend.

Found among the waste inside the dilapidated trailer were two tyres, a cuddly toy and a sign for baked potatoes.

A fridge was also found dumped outside the vehicle, along with a double mattress.

Officers are believed to have been alerted to the fly-tipping which they reported to Gravesham council.

The authority's waste disposal team confirmed they had been made aware of the incident and would be dealing with it in due course.

They said they were treating it as a discarded vehicle and were arranging to have it removed.
