Everything you need to know about Gravesham's Christmas lights tonight

Get your wooly coats on as the town turns on its Christmas lights tonight.

The festive switch-on will take place at Community Square, Gravesend, at 4pm.

There will be some entertainment before the main event, including street entertainers and some of this years stars from the Beauty and the Beast pantomime, which is showing at The Woodville.

Following the switch-on children from local schools will parade through the town with lanterns, before returning for the lighting of the Christmas tree by mayor Cllr Gurdip Bungar.
