M25 crash: Traffic mounts after lorry and van collide between junction 3 and 2

Two lanes of the M25 were closed this morning after a crash between a van and a lorry.

The collision happened shortly after 9am.

Emergency services are at the scene of the smash, which happened on the anticlockwise carriageway between junction 3 for Swanley and 2 for the A2.

All lanes have been reopened.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "We were called to a collision between a lorry and a van on the anti-clockwise M25 at 9.04am on Monday, September 3.

"The collision happened between junctions 3 and 2 and no serious injuries were reported.

"Lane closures were briefly enforced however the vehicles have since been moved onto the hard shoulder."
