Ebbsfleet have been hit by injuries and suspensions as they look to negotiate a tricky FA Cup tie this weekend.

A trip to Redbridge, of Ryman League, Division 1 North, offers the Fleet a good chance to take their place in the first round draw, although the hosts will equally sense a giant-killing opportunity.

Missing at least five senior players for the fourth qualifying round clash, Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish, pictured, knows his side cannot afford to let their focus slip if they are to progress.

He said: "It’s about mentality, getting the mentality right, concentrating on what we’re about and playing to our maximum. I think the rest takes care of itself. If we’re five or 10% down, though, anything can happen."

Centre-back Yado Mambo is banned following his red card at Kettering on Saturday and the Charlton loanee will be joined on the sidelines by midfielder Ram Marwa, who is suspended after collecting five bookings.

Meanwhile, Scott Ginty’s injury-hit career took another dip when the striker aggravated an old hamstring injury after coming off the bench at Nene Park.

Ginty’s luck has been bad since he broke into the Fleet squad two seasons ago and his latest setback came just two days after he scored five goals for the reserves.

Daish is likely to be without defender Clint Easton for several months as he recovers from a knee operation and striker Liam Enver-Marum is also unlikely to feature.
