Police discover cannabis and pepper spray after stopping uninsured vehicle in Gravesend

Police stopping an uninsured vehicle led to a discovery of "freshly harvested cannabis grow" at the driver's home.

Kent Police Roads tweeted about the find after stopping a vehicle in Gravesend which had showed up on their checks as having no insurance.

The driver didn't have a licence either and had pepper spray in the vehicle, officers reported.

The tweet read: "A subsequent search of their address revealed a small freshly harvested cannabis grow."
