Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish is planning to make pre-season training interesting and varied when the squad report back after their summer break on Saturday.

The players were given their own personal programmes at the end of last season and Daish (pictured) said: "We’ll assess the players and get a good idea about their fitness levels but I will be looking to change things around during the sessions and keep things interesting.

"There are never any short cuts where fitness is concerned."

Ebbsfleet have re-arranged two pre-season friendlies against Gillingham and Dover.

They have agreed to Gillingham’s request to put the match against them back two days from Saturday, July 30 until Monday, August 1, while the Dover game has been brought forward a week to Saturday, July 23.

The club have been unable to find new Football League opposition to fill the gap left by the postponement against Crystal Palace.
