Firefighters were called to the scene this morning in Queen Street, Gravesend and were seen running in and out of the store.

Fire crews working to extinguish the blaze

Three fire engines were sent to the fire and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish a pile of rubbish alight at the rear of the building.

The blaze caused smoke logging in the nearby property and no casualties have been reported.

The service was called at around 11.20am and were on the scene for 40 minutes.

It is believed the fire was accidental.

A cordon was up around neighbouring businesses earlier this morning while crews worked to extinguish the flames.

This incident comes just days after Queen Street was reopened after being closed for more than a month following a massive blaze in the former New Inn pub.
