Fire crews rescue a man after his car crashed through a wall into a front garden in Singlewell Road, Gravesend

A man has been taken to hospital after fire fighters rescued a man him from a car crash.

It was just before 9.30pm yesterday, when the car smashed through a wall, and into a front garden in Singlewell Road, Gravesend.

Fire crews were called to the scene and rescued the driver from the car using hydraulic rescue equipment.

He was pulled out from the passenger's seat and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
