Group of men carry out attack in Pelham Road, Gravesend

A group of six men are thought to be behind an attack which left at least one man badly injured.

Online posts suggest two men were assaulted in Pelham Road, Gravesend, over the weekend.

The posts says a group of six attackers allegedly both beat and robbed two young men.

However, police have said they are dealing with just one victim.

It happened between 9.25pm and 9.33pm on Saturday, near Bronte School.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "It is reported that the victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by a group of men and then assaulted.

"At present no arrests have been made and officers are conducting ongoing inquiries."
