Teen suspected of dealing in Gravesend charged with supplying after police spotted alleged drug deal in Fort Gardens

A teenager suspected of drug dealing in Gravesend, has been charged with supplying after police spotted an alleged drug deal.

Plain-clothed officers who were on patrol witnessed the suspected deal taking place in Fort Gardens, at about 6.30pm on Monday.

They stopped a man and searched him and officers found 74 wraps of suspected heroin and crack cocaine, cash and a mobile phone.

Reece Middleton, of Sewell Road, Abbey Wood was arrested and charged the next day with two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

The 18-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court earlier today and was remanded in custody.

He is next due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, April 22.
