Heavy queues are building on the A2 and M25 tonight following a three-car crash.

The coastbound carriageway, near the A2260 Southfleet Road/Ebbsfleet exit, is partially blocked after the incident.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports there is congestion back to the M25 J2 Darenth Interchange.

Kent County Council Highways teams have rated the crash as “high severity” and are warning of lengthy delays.

The M25 is also blocked in both directions in Essex between J29 and J30, bringing traffic into Kent.
