There were delays on a major route after a car fire.

All traffic was stopped on the A2 at Cobham, near The Inn on the Lake.

Two fire engines attended at 7.13am to tackle the flames, believed to be linked to a mechanical malfunction in the vehicle's fuel supply.

There were no reported injuries and the road has now reopened.
