Traffic has been brought to a standstill on a both carriageways of a key route.

There are severe delays and stationary trafficed due to an overturned vehicle on the A2 Watling Street coastbound at the A227.

Congestion goes right back to the M2 Junction 1, Highways England says.

Meanwhile three out of four lanes, numbers one to three, are closed on a separate incident on the Londonbound side.

All traffic is being held for the arrival of an air ambulance.
