Man arrested on suspicion of carrying meat cleaver in Gravesend

A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of carrying a meat cleaver in the street.

Police took the man into custody after they were called to a disturbance in Homemead Close in Gravesend at 6.40pm yesterday.

He was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a bladed article.

He remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
