Gravesend man charged with drink-driving after car ends up on roof in Cross Road East collision

A man has been charged with drink-driving after the car he was driving ended up on its roof earlier this month.

Officers were called to Cross Road East, Gravesend, at around 4.40pm on November 3 to a collision involving a number of cars.

Pictures emerged of a car in the same road flipped over following the incident.

Rajeevan Thiruchelvam, of The Grove, in the same town, was arrested and later charged with drink-driving.

The 38-year-old has been released on bail and will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, December 4.
