Marcel West, 20, of Greenhithe, charged with drug offences in Gravesend and Dartford

A man has been charged with intent to supply drugs after he was stopped by police.

Marcel West, of Bean Road, Greenhithe, was arrested on Friday March 8 after patrol officers stopped him when they thought he was acting suspiciously.

He was found with a quantity of cannabis when he was searched in Shirley Close, Dartford.

The 20-year-old was later later identified as being an outstanding offender for offences in Gravesend last May.

He was charged for possessing cannabis with intent to supply on March 8 as well as two charges of possessing cocaine and cannabis on May 1 2018, with intent to supply.

West has been bailed and will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday April 23.
