Man charged with string of burglaries at multiple Gravesend homes

A man has been charged with a string of burglaries at various properties.

Stefan Adi was arrested yesterday following reports of break-ins at homes in Brunswick Walk and Suffolk Road in Gravesend.

A car is alleged to have been taken from the first property and electrical equipment, including a laptop and a games console, is reported to have been stolen from the second.

The 23-year-old, of Darnley Street, Gravesend, has been charged with two counts of burglary and faces separate charges related to the alleged theft of a motor vehicle, including driving without a licence and insurance.

He was remanded in custody and admitted each offence at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

The man has since been bailed to appear for sentencing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be determined.
