Gravesend man's back flip knocks himself out celebrating Liverpool winning Champions League final

This is the moment a man performed a back flip during a dance off - and knocked himself out.

Kevin Coyle, 35, from Gravesend, was strutting his stuff in the pub when he attempted the somersault, without any encouragement.

But he kicked himself in the face half way round, and a video shows him collapse on the dancefloor, while baffled drinkers look on.

His mates quickly put him in the recovery position, and he was checked over by paramedics.

And despite the gaffe, Kevin, headed back out on the dance floor, during the night out to celebrate Liverpool beating Tottenham on Saturday.

He was filmed by Hayley Curtis, 28, who was meeting Kevin - her brother-in-law's best friend for the first time.

She said: "He got over excited and said that everyone should stand in a circle.

"Then he did the somersault, and banged his head.

"We got him outside, where a team of paramedics checked him over.

"But he was fine, and he got back on the dance floor clutching a bottle of water after about an hour where he calmed himself down.

"He was just so happy that his football team beat Tottenham earlier in the day."

Business owner Kevin performed the stunt in After Office Hours bar in Colchester, Essex around 11.30pm on Saturday, while out with 11 mates.

Two of his pals immediately put him in the recovery position, and rushed to fetch paramedics, who were coincidentally parked outside.

After a quick check, he was "back to his normal self" and hit the dance floor again.

Hayley added: "He was not a dancer at all - you have dad dancers, but Kev is a granddad dancer.

"He did the back flip of his own accord. No one had encouraged him."
