Man 'restrained' and put into ambulance after medical incident at Regents Court, Gravesend

Police and ambulance crews were called out to a block of flats after a man suffered a medical incident.

The incident happened at Regents Court, in Gravesend at about 8.45pm last night.

It is not known what sort of medical incident the man suffered, but witnesses near the scene in West Street, say he was taken by police under restraint to the waiting ambulance.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police assisted the South East Coast Ambulance Service with a medical incident at an address in West Street, Gravesend, following a report received at 6.40pm.

"A man who received treatment at the scene was subsequently conveyed to a local hospital."
