Murder squad police seek woman walker

DETECTIVES probing the death of a man stabbed to death on a motorway slip road are anxious to talk to a woman seen walking in the vicinity.

The victim, Joseph Ennis, 42, from Gravesend, died on Sunday from multiple injuries. Another man, aged 47, has been arrested on suspicion of the murder. He was found at the scene with stab wounds.

The two men had been travelling in a blue Peugeot 405 which had a taxi sign fixed to the roof of the vehicle.

The woman being sought was seen walking along the London-bound carriageway of the A20 pulling a suitcase on wheels.

The killing occurred on the road which connects the M25 Swanley Interchange to the London-bound carriageway of the A20.
