Children in Need: Gravesend primary schools take part in fundraising

School children joined in the fun to raise money for Children in Need this year.

Painters Ash Primary School in Northfleet even featured on television for their fundraising efforts.

Painters Ash had a sponsored walk

Pupils and staff dressed up for a sponsored 10 lap walk around the school playground in their costumes.

The children took part in a fun warm-up exercise and were seen dressed as all sorts of characters, including Pudsey.

Another school raised £2,008 with a non-uniform day and ran a "who is the spottiest teacher?" competition where children purchased spots to stick to staff members.

Miss Foard of class 4d at St John's Catholic Primary School, Gravesend, won with a total of 136 spots.
