Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish cut a despondent figure as his side were dumped out of the FA Cup by lower league opposition.

A lacklustre display away to Redbridge saw the Blue Square Premier side lose 2-0 away to the Ryman League Division 1 North side in their fourth qualifying round tie.

Late goals from Ryan Murray and Joe Gardner claimed a dramatic win for the Essex side, who play three leagues below Ebbsfleet.

Fleet boss Daish (pictured) admitted there would be some serious soul searching after the cup defeat.

He said: "We had a lot of possesion, but we rarely tested the keeper. The quality wasn't good enough and you know that the longer the game goes on without any improvement, whoever gets a chance is going to take it and that's where we were punished.

"We weren't good enough on the day and this was an important tie for the club. The players knew they had to perform before the game, it's been a dissapointing day and it's not acceptable for a side who set themselves standards and then let themselves down.

"We were just static in certain areas and our balls into the box and movement were poor. I thought we had enough in the eleven today to get through this game, but we didn't show that in our performance or anything to prove why we're three leagues ahead of Redbridge."
