Police and paramedics spotted in Bath Street, Gravesend, as road is closed and forensic tent erected

Police have been called to a medical incident outside a shopping centre.

A large emergency service presence has been spotted opposite Gravesend Community Hospital and officers have blocked Bath Street while they respond.

Paramedics are also at the scene and a white tent has been erected next to the roadside.

At least six emergency vehicles are in the area, including a critical care unit.

Police say they were called by the ambulance service to a medical incident outside the St George’s Centre shortly before 12.20pm.

Officers attended the scene where they assisted paramedics.
