Summer attraction closes one day after grand opening

A new family attraction at Bluewater had to be closed one day after its grand opening because the pool was contaminated.

The Beach held its grand opening on Friday, July, 13 at the site in Greenhithe when hundreds of excited children and their parents went along to enjoy the attraction.

The attraction is opened during the summer months and features lots of rides, a giant paddling pool and a sandy beach.

But people who went along on Saturday to enjoy a dip in the hot weather were disappointed to find out that staff had to close the site because of the contamination.

A post on The Beach at Bluewater Facebook page informed people about the closure just a day after it had announced its official opening.

However, this morning staff updated the website to say that the attraction will be open at noon today.
