Police have made an arrest after a man reportedly suffered a head injury in an assault.

Officers were called to Craylands Lane in Swanscombe at 8.42pm yesterday (October 23) after reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, a man with a head injury reported he had been assaulted.

The force say a man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

He remains in custody.
