Suspected drug dealers charged after being arrested at Gravesend Railway Station

Two suspected drug dealers who ran away from officers at a railway station have been charged.

Nathom Gebeermskel, 23, and Efriem Haile, 24, and a third man were approached by police on Monday, at around 8pm, as they got off their London train at Gravesend Railway Station, in Rathmore Road.

The trio attempted to run off but were detained by officers who seized a package of suspected heroin and crack cocaine.

They will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court today.

The third man, a 21-year-old from Northfleet, was also arrested at the scene but was later released under investigation.
