A group of suspected illegal immigrants have been found in the back of a van at a busy service station.

Officers were called to Cobham services on the A2 just before 7am this morning.

Six people, believed to be in the country illegally, were found in the back of a van.

The South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called to assess the people for any injuries.

A police spokesman said: "The matter has been referred to the Home Office."
