Two teenagers are in custody on suspicion of stealing a car, carrying a weapon and drug dealing.

The pair, aged just 14 and 18, were arrested following a police chase, which included the police helicopter, and a dog unit.

They were apprehended just after midnight in Chalk, and arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

The dog unit caught up with them and they remain in police custody.
