A man is then said to have got out of the passenger side of the car, approached the boys, threatened them with what was believed to be a gun and demanded their phone and wallets.

The teenagers handed over their phones and some loose change and the suspect then got back into the car which drove away.

Neither of the teenagers were injured.

The suspect is white, around 5ft 8ins tall with stubble and he wore dark coat with a fur hood.

The white car which he was travelling in, possibly a Vauxhall Corsa, had black alloy wheels.

Officers are making a number of enquiries and reviewing CCTV opportunities and would appeal to anyone who has any information to contact them.
