Time is running out to spread some good will and enter our Christmas competition.
The Messenger wants to put smiles on the faces of youngsters, but we need your help.
We have joined forces with Build-A-Bear Factory to give away six of their festive friends to children in Gravesham and Dartford who have had a tough time of late and could do with a treat. Up for grabs are cuddly toys including a Santa Claus and Rudolph and Clarice the reindeers.
Every child is special, but we want you to send in your stories of those who could do with a pat on the back or a pick-me-up.
You only have two days to get your entries in to us and here at the Gravesend office we do not want any little ones to miss out.
The deadline is 3pm on Thursday so hurry to make sure you have a chance to be a winner.
We ran a similar competition last year to great success with winners Adam Charlick, eight, Oliver White, two, Abbie Staff, 11, Alex Brown, 13, Tobias James Ludlow, three and Archie Sandhu, nine, all getting a cuddly friend in time for Christmas.
When you write, include a summary of no more than 250 words on why you believe your chosen child deserves to win.
Entries must include the child’s full name, age and the name of the road they live in. Please also include contact details, including a telephone number. We will share some of the heart-warming tales with our readers, so by taking part in the competition, you are agreeing to publicity.
