Water way to start the day...

Commuters were left fuming this morning, when a water burst pipe caused traffic chaos.

Emergency repairs involving the three way lights on Milton Road at the junction with Ordnance Road cause traffic to be backed up as far as the Gravesend rugby club in Donald Briggs Drive and St John’s schools along Rochester Road.

Severe delays are expected all morning, and it is likely to have a knock-on effect for traffic across the town.

It is expected to be fixed by Southern Water on Thursday.

There are also delays on the M25 after an earlier accident at the Dartford Crossing toll booths.

This is having a knock-on effect on traffic on the A2.
