Vandals spray paint vehicles in Eagles Road, Greenhithe

Vandals went on a spray-painting spree, targeting vehicles with graffiti.

The incidents happened over the weekend in Eagles Road, Greenhithe.

Now police are appealing for those affected - both witnesses and anyone else who may be a victim - to come forward.

Councillor for Greenhithe and Knockhall David Mote (Con) said: "It was a bad Saturday night/Sunday morning in Greenhithe and I requested that the Community Safety Unit raise the weekend issues with the police this morning at their Monday meeting.

"There were three reports in Eagles Road relating to vehicle damage, all involving spray paint.

"Just to reinforce police requests, please could any other victims report any incidents to the police, and any witnesses please also contact the police through 101.

"Could anyone with CCTV in the area please check it for any relevant images. And finally, the police have posted a Twitter request for information."

No suspects have yet been identified and enquiries are ongoing.

Police have encouraged people who may know more to come forward by calling 101 or via their website.
