A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash this morning.

Police were called to Milroy Avenue in Northfleet just before 7am after a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The road was shut in both directions between Hardy Avenue and Southfleet Road

Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a woman was treated for injuries.

She was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

The injuries are not described as life-threatening.
