Ebbsfleet Garden City architect named as work on 2,600 home project set to begin

An architecture firm has been appointed as plans for The Western Village in Ebbsfleet Garden City progress.

London-based PRP has been chosen to lead the masterplan of the project which is set to deliver around 2,600 new homes.

The properties will be built with their surroundings in mind, a former quarry will provide a backdrop for the scheme.

They will be linked to open green spaces that allow residents to walk or cycle through.

Senior partner at PRP, Manish Patel, said: “Our work, as master planners and architects, has meant we are heavily involved in shaping the future of this new district in north Kent, which is a very exciting prospect.”

The Western Village will be the largest within the Eastern Quarry and become a major contributor for Ebbsfleet - becoming the largest garden city in the UK as a result. More than 250 homes are set to be delivered as part of a detailed first phase in the village.
