The 20-year-old had gone missing two days prior and a police appeal had been launched to help locate him.

An inquest opening at Oakwood House in Maidstone this morning (January 23) heard how Mr Dubovski, of Ingoldsby Road in the same town, was reported missing by a friend after he failed to turn up for work at Italian restaurant Carluccio’s.

Assistant coroner Alan Blunsdon told the court how a friend had informed police the Latvian-born youngster said they were feeling suicidal and had left home after an argument.

An investigation from officers led to Mr Dubovski being spotted several times in the town centre.

He was seen entering a bar and drinking three beers before making his way along King Street. He was then pictured again walking along West Street.

The court heard how Mr Dubovski had previously tried to take his own life on atleast two occasions.

Mr Blunsdon explained how police attended the former hospital site after receiving some more information and the man’s body was found in overgrown vegetation.

He added: “It appeared that he had fallen from the building.”

Multi-organ system failure as a result of trauma due to a fall from height was given as the Gravesend man’s cause of death.

A full inquest will be held on February 13.
