Ebbsfleet defender Lloyd Harrington has been sent out on loan for the second time this season.

Harrington will spend 28 days with Ryman League Premier Division side Lewes as he looks to return to full fitness after a knee injury.

Having joined the Fleet from Dover in the summer, Harrington was loaned out to Grays Athletic to build up his fitness after missing almost all of last season.

But he aggravated the problem during his time with the Essex club and returned to Ebbsfleet early.

Harrington has yet to feature in a competitive game for the Fleet although he was on the bench for their Vanarama Conference South opener against Concord Rangers.

He could make his Lewes debut tonight (Wednesday) in the Robert Dyas League Cup against Peacehaven & Telscombe.
