Ebbsfleet United goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore voted supporters' player-of-the-year again

Nathan Ashmore has been voted Ebbsfleet's player-of-the-year for a second season running.

The goalkeeper has been ever-present for Fleet in the National League, keeping 16 clean sheets.

Club records show Ashmore is only the fourth player in the club's history to win the award twice.

Ashmore joined Ebbsfleet from Gosport Borough in 2016 and hasn't missed a league game since.

His highlight reel of saves is quite astonishing and the big man commands his penalty area like no other.

Ashmore has had to deal with sickening terrace abuse this season but has arguably played his best football for the club since being confronted by pitch invaders at Chesterfield in January.
