Grays v Ebbsfleet
Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish is expecting a reaction from his players when they travel to play rivals Grays on Thursday.
Daish labelled his Ebbsfleet players "shrinking violets" after emerging from an hour-long dressing room tirade immediately after Sunday’s 5-1 defeat at Oxford.
It was the Fleet’s fourth consecutive defeat in the Blue Square Premier and dropped the club a place to 14th – five points above the relegation zone.
Daish said: "We had some shrinking violets out there.
"You cannot let these things pass without strong words.
"I expect a strong, positive reaction when we visit Grays. I want us to rediscover our togetherness as a side and rediscover that winning mentality."
Defender Darius Charles is still troubled by an ankle injury while the experienced Paul McCarthy has had an injection in a hip injury and the club are waiting to see if there is a reaction.
Fellow defender Dean Pooley, is a doubt after breaking his nose against Grays on Boxing Day, but Michael Gash is available after completing a one-match suspension.
