Ebbsfleet boss Josh Wright has made his second summer signing – bringing in a defender from neighbours Maidstone.
The Fleet have completed a deal for right-back Charlie Seaman, who helped Maidstone reach the National League South play-off final last month.
Seaman, 25, missed the final against Boreham Wood after being sent off in the semi-final win at Eastbourne.
The Stones had offered Seaman a deal for next season but he’s opted to move to Stonebridge Road.
“I’ve spoken to the manager about the ambitions for next season and it’s something that I want to be involved in,” said Seaman.
“To fall at the last hurdle last season was difficult but it’s something that I want to do again in aiming for promotion here.”
Seaman previously played for Doncaster, Eastleigh, Wealdstone and Hartlepool, having started his career at Bournemouth.
He’s the second new face to join Ebbsfleet this summer after experienced Barnet left-back Ben Coker put pen to paper on a deal.
