Ebbsfleet United sign midfielder Freddy Moncur

Ebbsfleet boss Garry Hill has boosted his squad by signing Freddy Moncur.

The 22-year-old trained with the Fleet in pre-season under former boss Daryl McMahon.

Midfielder Moncur is available for this Saturday's FA Trophy game against Dagenham.

Fleet boss Hill said: "Freddie’s been very impressive in training. As everyone knows we’ve been very much down to bare bones in the past week or two and we go into an intensive period of games now so Freddy brings us up to an 18-man squad.”

Moncur has featured for East Thurrock and Kingstonian this season, having ended the previous campaign at Wingate & Finchley.

Moncur came through the youth ranks at Leyton Orient but made less than a dozen first-team appearances for the O's.
