Defender Dean Pooley is back at Ebbsfleet United.
The 28-year-old, who was part of the Fleet's 2010-11 promotion-winning squad, signed for the north Kent club on Monday after calling time on a short spell at Maidstone United.
Pooley agreed a move to the Gallagher Stadium at the start of September and started each the Stones' next four games, including their 10-0 demolition of Littlehampton in the FA Cup on Saturday.
But the Fleet put in a seven-day approach and the former Bromley man accepted their offer.
Ebbsfleet boss Steve Brown said: "Dean is a very experienced player who will make an excellent addition to our squad, and increase the competition for places."
Pooley could make his second Fleet debut against Charlton in the Kent Senior Cup on Wednesday.
Maidstone manager Jay Saunders said: "I am disappointed to lose Dean and didn’t want him to leave. However, I understand that he wants to make the step up and their morning training sessions will suit him better.
"I’ve got options at right-back and we’ll be ready for tomorrow’s match (against Harrow)."
