Fielding said: “I’m really excited to progress and push on. It was an amazing season for me last year and it allowed me to come into my own as a leader.

“It’s going to be the most competitive season I’ve been involved in.”

Fielding started his career at Hastings before moving to Stevenage. He then joined Tonbridge in 2021.

The 25-year-old took a clean sweep of honours at Longmead last season, winning manager’s, supporters’ and players’ player of the year.

Fielding’s arrival brings the number of new faces at Stonebridge Road to five with Jake Hessenthaler, Nelson, Charlie Seaman and Ben Coker already on board.
