Ebbsfleet United manager Dennis Kutrieb will keep rotating keepers Tom Hadler and Jordan Holmes

Ebbsfleet boss Dennis Kutrieb insists he has no issues about rotating his keepers.

All eyes will be on the Fleet line-up for Tuesday night’s FA Cup Third Qualifying Round tie at home to Chippenham – and who gets the nod in goal.

Tom Hadler played the first game of the season, the FA Cup tie with Hastings, before Jordan Holmes was between the sticks in the league opener at Braintree.

Hadler was back in goal for Saturday’s draw with Hastings so it seems likely that Holmes will come in for the FA Cup clash.

“I can’t say at the moment,” said Kutrieb.

“We can switch and rotate every time but we look to the opponents and look which keeper is better for each game.

“I have no doubts about switching them as they are both similar. They are both good, strong keepers so I don’t have any doubts.

“I can pick either of them any time and that’s great for me.”

When asked if that means Fleet fans are unlikely to see one keeper play 10 or 12 consecutive matches, Kutrieb said: “It could happen in the future – we never know. There are many changes possible in a quick time so that’s why I can’t say it will never happen.

“At the moment it is not necessary. We can switch and give both of them minutes as they are both very good.”

There may be other changes against Chippenham after Fleet played with 10 men against Dulwich for an hour following Jake Goodman’s red card.

Much will depend on how the players have recovered since the weekend.

On the FA Cup tie, Kutrieb added: “It’s very exciting. We love football and want to play every day so we go again on Tuesday. We can start with 11 so that’s a good thing!

“We want to get through to the next round and stay in the hat so we’ll do our best. We’ll need a quick recovery and we may use a few fresh players.

“We will see how they have recovered and then decide on Tuesday. All of our boys are ready to play so which ones have the quickest recovery can play again, and those that need longer can play on Saturday.

“We have a big squad and everyone wants to show where they are at the moment so we’re looking forward to it.”
