Tinkerman Dennis Kutrieb named an unchanged team for only the second time this season. It was the same starting XI that won 4-2 at Welling last weekend.

The Fleet nearly took a second-minute lead when Craig Tanner was allowed to run and run before setting up Bingham, whose low shot was saved by the keeper.

Dulwich took the lead on 10 minutes when a Giovanni McGregor free-kick was deflected beyond Fleet keeper Louie Moulden by Ronnie Vint.

Fleet were back on level terms 12 minutes later. A short corner saw Chris Solly’s low drive cleared off the line, Shaquile Coulthirst then fired against the post and it was finally third time lucky when the Fleet striker forced the ball home.

Referee Andrew Humphries booked Dulwich’s Sanchez Ming and Jack Holland as well as Fleet’s Christian N’Guessan, although the most obvious caution of the half when Solly took out Jordan Green early on failed to earn him a yellow card.

It took only 12 minutes of the second half for Fleet boss Kutrieb to call for leading scorer Poleon.

But it took a late challenge by Ben Chapman on Dulwich’s Tyler Sterling to bring the crowd to life. It saw Chapman earn a yellow card with Fleet fans thinking Sterling made more of the challenge.

Jack Paxman and Bingham combined to set up Poleon on 65 minutes but he failed to get a decent connection on his left-foot shot and keeper Grainger was able to make a comfortable save.

Fleet went ahead on 69 minutes when Paxman’s precise pass found Bingham in the box and the Fleet striker produced an excellent finish across Grainger into the far corner.

Poleon nearly wrapped the game up with 10 minutes left but Grainger just got enough on his low shot to divert it behind for a corner.
