Representative honour for Fleet trio

GRAVESEND & Northfleet's re-emergence as a force in semi-professional football has been acknowledged with the inclusion of three players in a 19-strong Isthmian League representative side to play an FA X1. Defenders Francis Duku and Aaron Barnett, plus striker Craig Wilkins, have been called up for the match at Bishops Stortford on Wednesday, November 21. Two former Fleet players, midfielder Lee Spiller, now with Chesham, and goalkeeper Scott Tarr of Basingstoke, are also included.

Manager Andy Ford said: "We're delighted with the selection of three of our players which we feel reflects greatly on the club. Aaron and Francis have been playing well together at the heart of our defence and I'm not surprised that team manager John Kendall has gone for two centre-backs from the same club."
