Experienced Franks worked for the German FA for many years and was part of the national side’s backroom and scouting staff when they hosted the 2006 World Cup, finishing third.

He’s also been assistant manager at TSV Rudow in the Berlin-Liga.

“He’s a very good guy and the right character,” Kutrieb told Fleet’s website.

“He’s not the loudest character but everything he says is important.”

It's been another busy week in the transfer market for Ebbsfleet with three new signings - James Dobson , Bobby-Joe Taylor and Will Wood .
