Police release CCTV images after alleged distraction burglary at Herne Bay home

Police have released CCTV images of an alleged distraction burglary as jewellery went missing after women claimed to be offering medical services.

Gold jewellery was reported missing following the incident at a residential property in King’s Road, Herne Bay.

It took place just after 2pm on Thursday, September 25. Officers have today released CCTV images of women they would like to speak to in connection with the matter

A spokesperson said: “Two women entered the residence after allegedly claiming to be carrying out medical services.

“The occupant spent time with the pair inside the property before the women left around 15 minutes later. Gold jewellery was later reported to be missing.

“Officers attended and initial enquiries were completed.”
