A four-year-old girl needed hospital treatment after she was involved in a collision with a car in Herne.

The accident happened shortly after 3pm on Monday in Streetfield, off School Lane. The girl was taken to the QEQM hospital in Margate where she was treated for cuts and bruises to her leg.

In February Herne Parish Council discussed parking in the village particularly at busy times such as the school run.
